Amish Baked Oatmeal

1 ½ cups oats (old fashioned works best)

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ cup white sugar

½ cup milk

3 Tbs butter, melted

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

¾ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract


Serve with:

Warm milk

Fresh fruit (raspberries and blueberries) and/or brown sugar


Combine ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly into a greased 9x13 baking pan.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
